About This Pipe

"Not yet." A few pipe makers, Kent Rasmussen comes immediately to mind, will sometimes start a project, get a bit into it and then realize that the block that they were using wouldn't do the trick. For the shape they needed, the briar they had chosen was much like Gertrude Stein's famous remark about Oakland; "There's no "there", there". Such was the original case of the briar in front out you, Adam started a project a bit over three years ago, hated where it was going and placed it on one of his shelves. Much like the smart advice that's given before taking a test, if you don't know the definitive answer right away, go on to the next problem and let your subconscious mull over the previous one. and then come back to it. Moving forward close to three years, Adam was walking by this briar in his workshop and got an interesting flash. He envisioned the briar as a highly pliable substance and then placing his index finger in the tobacco chamber and streeeetching the opposing ends apart. What would that look like? Well, pretty much like the beauty that is in front of you! This sophisticated brandy possesses smart, stylish lines as well as a delightful liquidity of flow. Great things may take time to happen, but they happen!
