Sandblasted Acorn Tobacco Pipe

To say that I am utterly smitten with this pipe might be the understatement of the week (the understatement of the Century occurred when I told Sykes that I felt I had an insufficient attention span and grasp of punctuation to do this job). Among my myriad of faults is a (basically) absent ability to understand, process, and manipulate spatial relationships in my head. I have always envied the person who can take a statement like "Begin with standard shape "X", decrease the distance between point "A" and "B", leaving all other (unaffected) ratios intact" and actually figure out what that would look like. That's just trying to imagine it. Adam can visualize and manipulate ratios, picture unconventional pairings and either elect to sketch it out or discard faster than I can nod "yes" to the question "So, you want some free pizza?!".

Sublimely architectural in overarching form, uncannily intuitive in its totality, Adam still deftly creates a palpable sense of the organic by crafting hints of the geologic within the plateau of the rim and mount. While Adam can do a ripping, dual stain sandblast with the best in the world, I love when he applies the blaster with a Danish sensibility. In this case, the result is a uniformly spectacular grain, bowl and shank, that also features the tactile fineness of a Japanese Tea Ceremony fukasa. (Applause).
