We've only seen a handful of renditions of Jeff's Gourd thus far, but what we
have seen have been rather incredible. What might've been a bewitching bent Apple in its own right is here supplemented with a foot at the heel à la the beloved classic Cutty form. But the foot isn't an afterthought mind you; it's married to the back line of the bowl perfectly, as if the whole bowl were some kind of upturned flowing cap. The whole thing is ruggedly sandblasted, save the rim, in a burnt sienna and port contrast stain, which pairs most excellently in hue to the bit of cocobolo wood that accents the saddle-style stem.
