Conte Smooth Hawkbill (DD) Tobacco Pipe

This is only the second hawkbill that we have received from Il Duca, the first was a morta beauty that arrived in our very first shipment. While I was impressed by the form of the morta iteration, this chubby, compact wonder has me drooling like my wife at an "all you can eat" shoe sale (trust me, if you saw my wife at a shoe sale, you wouldn't find the analogy a complete non-sequitur). The shape is baroque, almost to the point of the rubenesque, and exudes such a delightful familiarity, that your hand almost closes around the bowl of its own will. Bengal and cumberland are always complementary, especially with a grain of this quality superimposed.
