About This Pipe
With this presentation, Jeff Gracik takes a Danish classic and makes it utterly his own. The bowl is flattened along the vertical axis, the rim showing a tear drop form, with the point to the front. This point is genesis for a deftly executed ridge that runs down the front of the bowl, and is carried back through the shank, all the way to the ivory mount. To call the grain of this pipe "astonishing" would be a gross understatement; 100% straight for a full 360 degrees around the bowl, and up both sides of the shank. That's right, no wash anywhere. Bravo, Jeff, bravo!
