About This Pipe
Compact, without being overly cute, deftly shaped, superb grain.. I scarcely know where to begin with this superb creation. A softly undulating, tear drop shaped rim oversees a clean, curving central line, in this J. Alan composition. The grain is stellar, one could spend eons just looking at the birdseye of the rim, let alone the straight grain of the body. One of the things that has the greatest impact on me is Jeff's incredible bit work. More than a few times I have heard it likened to that of Ranier Barbi. Quite apt.
