About This Pipe
While this pipe displays some inspiration from both Todd Johnson and an Ivarsson (Nanna) the composition is uniquely "Jeff". This egg has a deft, arcing internal line that is best viewed from the bottom shot. This line is wrapped and "protected" by a razor clean ridge that starts at the ivory tear drop mount and carries all the way to the rim. The bowl is generously round, almost Reubenesque. By paring that bowl with a compositionally thicker shank this piece takes on a greater sense of the compact than the length stated below would suggest. Nice grain and a hand ergonomic that is finer than spring rain. sweet.
