Meteora Fantasy Freehand Tobacco Pipe

With most Italian pipe makers, it's fairly easy to see what "schools" or influences have come to play in a particular pipe. With Ardor, an entire new tradition was innovated that's nigh near impossible to tie directly back to a stylistic tradition. This bountifully sized Meteora is a great example of the Rovera's decade old, "odd man in" aesthetic. Cubist lines at whimsical angles encase circular rusticated swirls on the main bowl, stopping abruptly at the shank, which presents absolutely standard rustication on the top of the stem and two sides. Faux cracked amber, and the august presence of sterling silver brings this piece of "smokable art" all together.
