About This Pipe
By Ardor standards, known for their pipes of gargantuan proportions, this is tiny. Of course, it's still probably equivalent to a Dunhill group 4, but next to its Ardor brethren, it's definitely the little guy in the bunch. Barely stained with just a light yellow-brown wash, flame grain shines through the beautiful rustication in places across that large panel that defines the front and sides of the bowl. The elegant little black acrylic stem complements and contrasts the light stained bowl perfectly. For the fan of smaller Ardors like me, this is quite a find (I'm pretty sure the average size of the six or so Ardors I have personally is about three standard deviations smaller than the mean).
