About This Pipe
Though a bit muted in the photograph, in person the birdseye on the smooth rim of this pipe is off the hook, almost reminding me of the famous burl dashes of the Rolls-Royce of yesteryear. But to get to that birdseye, you first have to wander through the vast fields of of eye popping grain on the sides of the bowl, and prior to that the huge size. This pipe boasts all of the aesthetic qualities that we have come to expect from the Ashton briar, plus gives us a wee bit more for our dollar.
