About This Pipe
Bill Ashton Taylor reserves the smooth "Sovereign" nomenclature for his best briars. This diminutive "XX" Sovereign is the first stack that I have personally encountered in the series, and the cross cut grain and birdseye are dazzling, to say the least. As with many Sovereigns, a good sized band of sterling silver finishes the composition.
