About This Pipe
Though a diamond shank is not the first thing you think of when you picture the traditional Brandy shape, it actually works quite well when attempting to produce a more solid, masculine rendition of this typically feminine, voluptuous shape. Aside from its own inherently masculine, sharp-edged nature, a diamond shank plays particularly well into a more solid style of Brandy bowl, which almost invariably means shifting the bowl's weight farther downward, emphasizing a broad lower-end, more direct taper towards the rim, and more forceful heel.
