Benni is well-known for producing bent Eggs in this style, sporting edged flanks, broad shanks and transitions, and quite often rounder, stockier bowls. Nonetheless, this one stands out, with the aforementioned elements emphasized to the point that it borders upon becoming a "Cobra" shape instead. Despite the complex, organic aesthetic, engineering-wise this Benni emulates one of the simplest and sparest of classical shapes, the Stack, offering up one very deep, long-smoking chamber.
