About This Pipe
Lectus, lector, Lectura - with this series Brebbia has at long last reunited those three great pastimes of the Thinking Man: reading, laying in bed, and smoking. While we'll all agree these activities are hardly as exciting as that other great classical triumvirate of riding a horse, shooting a bow, and speaking the truth, they do possess the notable advantage of not requiring one to get dressed. The pipe of course is a wonderfully lithesome and thoroughly curved churchwarden, the perfect instrument for enjoying both a leisurely smoke and an uninterrupted view of one's chosen material, be it the works of Xenophon, or Steven King's latest reiteration of boy-meets-horror.
