Quite a handful, this Castello Old Antiquari presents the bent Apple in a curious combination of Prince-style gesture and yet, contrasting that, absolutely massive form with a bowl both extra-large of scale and extra stout of proportions. The flow of the stem and shank are quite gentle, the design overall is bold, and therefore all the better suited to the rugged sandblast of its finish.
