I have never seen an Old Antiquari rhodesian before and, to be completely candid, I am not all that sure that I am seeing one now. Invariably, a Castello rhodesian features a bent shank of some degree, and this pipe is as straight as it gets. Obviously there is no way, even with my fevered imagination, to arrive at a bulldog of any sort. Given my "druthers", I would just call it a "liverdesian" and leave it at that. Shape minutiae aside, the grain of this bowl is fabulous, it had to be or it would have never seen the Old Antiquari stamp, and that wonderfully long shank will do a fine job of cooling the smoke of your next bowl.
