Old Antiquari Billiard (KK) Tobacco Pipe

This is just classic Castello: the medium depth, jet black stained Old Antiquari sandblast is contrasted by the light smooth stained nomenclature panel on the left side of the shank and the very occasional hints of the tan understain peaking through in the sandblast. The lines of the bowl and shank are similarly unmistakably Castellos, with the bottom of the stem and shank flat and the top of the stem and shank rising to meet the bowl. As the KK designation might suggest, this is a smaller piece by Castello standards, perhaps equivalent to a Dunhill group 4; lightweight, comfortable in the hand, carefully crafted, this is likely to be as good a smoking companion as it is a looker.
