About This Pipe
The grain along the front face and left flank of this Cavicchi billiard comes in the form of fine, perfectly aligned brush strokes. I think it likely that it was largely the spreading-out of this pattern as it translates to the bowl's right side that kept this pipe from earning higher than a "CCC". Certainly there is no fault to be found in the shaping, which is actually rather delicate by Cavicchi standards, and obviously of a prominently, classically English aesthetic.
