About This Pipe
With its sinuous gesture of stem and shank, long, smooth sweep at the heel, and high-rimmed, plateau-crowned bowl, the design of this gorgeous "CCCC" bent Dublin strikes as one that would be particularly challenging. There is a lot here, frankly, that I could easily see going wrong, in terms of the profile's balance, with just a slight slip or variation. Fortunately for us, Claudio is a notorious perfectionist, so in the end what we've been presented with is a piece worthy of a master's marque.
