About This Pipe
An elegant, subtly organic, and obviously Japanese-influenced number, this pale virgin-finish Il Duca Dublin would stand well as an example of perfectly matched grain and form. As you can see clearly, both the cant of the bowl, and the rolling curve of its rim have been poised, positioned, and shaped to act in harmony with the arch of the briar's copious ring grain, marrying from and material together in a most natural manner.
