About This Pipe
It iss difficult to pinpoint when, exactly, Dunhill began the concept of selling interesting shapes as "Quaints". Not that the classic shapes are not interesting, but Dunhill had a habit of always creating pipes that never seemed to fit in any of the standard naming conventions. And Dunhill enthusiasts were very quick to snap up those pieces that were out of the ordinary. Somewhere along the line Dunhill gave in to popular pressure and began regularly producing these Quaints and the results, while sometimes similar, are rarely identical. This pipe works extremely well, sporting some of the finer aspects of both the acorn and the calabash, as well as a generous Group 5 size.
