About This Pipe
Dunhill's dark Chestnut finish is a perfect match to the fine cumberland also used in this series - so fine that it's hard to believe that two such dissimilar substances, briar and vulcanite, could match so well. Fortunately, we have here a substantial sterling silver mount-and-spigot arrangement to mediate between the two, allowing for a greater appreciation of their individual differences (which, visually speaking, is largely in their patterns).
