About This Pipe
I must freely admit that this Bruyere is my easy favorite of this batch of Dunhill pipes. But I have to say that I am a bit confused about the stamping of "16' for the shape. Those wacky gents at Dunhill are at it again - there is no shape "16" on the Dunhill shape chart! Regardless, the form is simply exquisite, not just in appearance but also in hand, and that finish! So rich and dark an auburn that it might, at a quick glance, be mistaken for black; and in fact in dim light the whole pipe takes on a sleek and seamless silhouette - almost feline in its grace.
