About This Pipe
Tom Eltang shows us the humorous side of his craft with this playful little Billiard. By putting a loose horn bead on the ebony shank, Tom has created the perfect pipe for those guys who tend to want to fidget with something between puffs. Not only that, but the clickety-clack of the bead slapping back and forth between the briar shank mount and the stem face is nearly hypnotic. I know because I once spent ten minutes playing with the darn thing. Add to all this a really handsome sandblast on top of a charmingly shaped bowl and you've got a winner of a pipe. And we like winner pipes.
