Sandblasted Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Former is on a roll with Dublin shapes as of late. As recently as a year ago we hadn't received all that many from the estimable carver, however, he seems to be quite struck with it's elegant design at the moment. Lucky for everyone, as far as I'm concerned! This is just one gorgeous pipe. The way the sides and back of the bowl just drop down to the heel and swoop back into a wide, graceful curve; the soft camber of the rim and its handsome presentation of bird's eye grain under a dark maroon stain; the beautifully thin and exquisitely delicate stem (the button in especial); all these elements add up to a composition that's simply stellar. Add to that the high polished, medium blast and dark stain that's finished the piece with some terrific ring grain and you're looking at a magnificent specimen indeed.
