About This Pipe
This nut is amazingly balanced, not only visually, but the darned thing sits like a champ, something I did not expect when I first saw it in the describing tray. The grain continues the sense of balance with tight birdseye on the front panel, and nothing but straight and flame grain on the back and sides (I had expected birdseye on the rear, this is some deft carving). The bamboo is quite elegant and lends a brightening effect to the composition.
