Smooth Horn (Gold) Tobacco Pipe

Peter Heding creates superlative, intuitive executions across a wide variety of shapes, as well as an impressively broad repertoire of approaches within any given sub-category, and his horns are no exception. Bold, clean, and uncompromisingly architectural, Dr. Heding visually creates two horns, one nestled within the body of the other. The of disparity of depth is created by unerring grooves and channels carved into the rim and shank, and augmented by the juxtaposition of the soft rounding found on the "interior" pipe, and the keen, Rasmussian edges that present on the overlaying form. Elements as different as these might seem at loggerheads, on paper. In the hand, however, this pipe is both the acme of unity, and breathtaking in its totality.
