About This Pipe
The classical English Zulu is a curious creature; half languid relaxing, half lively and dynamic cant. This L'Anatra rendition, however, tosses most of the former the boldly accentuate the latter, with a high, proud, aggressive bowl design anchored to a rather muscular shank, trailed by a streamlined stem with but a subtle bit of bend. Fittingly, it's been shaped from the briar so that the birdseye appears on the fore and aft faces of the bowl, and the flame grain therefore streaking horizontally along the flanks.
