About This Pipe
On the rare occasion that we get to see an acorn from L'Anatra, the composition usually runs a gamut from playful to experimentally exuberant. Classic and acorn just aren't paired within the L'Anatra lexicon. Well, they hadn't been, until my eyes lighted upon this flaxen Two Egg. The grain ranges from a dense straight on the left of the bowl, to an intermittent virga and broad flame on the front and right of the same. The elongation of the shank and bit creates a fine visual flow, and places the center of gravity just behind the junction of the bowl and shank.
