About This Pipe
The '221' bent Billiard shape from Peterson is such an archetypal Peterson shape. The visual weight of the shank relative to the proportions of the bowl, the saddle stem: it all says Peterson, in a rather loud, boisterously thick Irish brogue, from across the room. Highlighted by the brown contrast Aran stain, this particular example of the shape features a well defined melange of cross cut and birdseye and comes with the often requested fishtail bit.
