About This Pipe
The Kinsale series draws its shapes from those designed for the Sherlock Holmes and Return of Sherlock Holmes series from Peterson. This shape, the 'XL29', was originally the Sylvius shape from the most recent edition of Sherlock Holmes series shapes. This particular example sports lots of nice birdseye, particularly along the right/forward portion of the bowl, all beautifully highlighted by the brown-orange bengal stain that characterizes the smooth Kinsale series pipes.
