About This Pipe
Peterson of Dublin is not a company that shies away from creating series. Indeed, they are quite probably the most prolific producer of pipe series in the industry. Some of the series that they produce are country specific (I can't imagine that a Fourth of July pipe has tremendous sales potential in Portugal). Most of their series, however, are pretty much available in any place that the Peterson pipe is sold. The Pipe of the Year falls into the latter category and has been perennially popular since its inception. The 2009 Pipe of the Year is available in both smooth and sandblasted finishes and proudly proclaims its year and stature on a sterling silver hallmarked band (the smooth ones are limited editions and contain production numbers). This handsome bent billiard comes a nifty presentation box that is shaped in a manner that is reminiscent of the architecture seen in the Lismore castle. Collectors of the Peterson Pipe of the Year? I think you're going to be very happy with this one.
