About This Pipe
This Peterson Pipe of the Year shows much of this honored Irish pipemaker's unique aesthetic, yet also it possesses elements which set it apart from the crowd. Take, for example, the more prominently angled transition from shank to bowl, the slight stretch of the bowl's positioning, as if reaching outwards and upwards. Less subtle, is the horizontal tapering of the shank as it proceeds towards the bowl, giving us the well-recognized Peterson in profile, yet something completely different, and novel, from the view of the smoker.
