St. Patrick's Day 2010 (X220) Fishtail Tobacco Pipe

If one were to want to get a sense of how many variations are possible within one seemingly narrowly defined shape style, one would only need to lay out all of Peterson's various bent billiard shapes. The "X220" is among the largest bent billiard shapes from Peterson (along with the "XL90"), but with the big, thick, wide shank that characterizes so many of Peterson's most iconic shapes. A large swath of birdseye runs up the bottom of the thick shank, giving way to some sharp diagonal grain on the right side. It looks like a brushstroke from St. Patrick himself (most likely before the "festivities" began).
