About This Pipe
The "69" bent billiard is considerably more subtle in its Peterson aesthetic than many other shapes; the shank and stem are somewhat tubular, yet not as proportionally heavy as the norm, while the bowl, although perhaps somewhat taller and deeper than what other pipe makers often produce, is quite classic in overall form. All in all it is a handsome example of design, and one which might appeal to those who'd like to try a Peterson briar, minus some of their more whimsical extremes in proportioning.
