About This Pipe
The Peterson "68" shape frequently gets mentally grouped with its bent billiard cousin, the 69, but these two shapes are very distinct. While both feature a fairly thin shank and stem (by Peterson standards, where big shanks and stems are the shaping norm), the visual weight falls at the bottom of the bowl on the 69, making it more of a bent brandy, while the 68 bulges around the midpoint of the bowl. It's presented here in the particularly deep, warm bengal finish of the Kenmare series.
