About This Pipe
The Peterson System pipe has been around since at least 1894, the year it was officially patented. A line of pipes does not achieve that kind of longevity unless there is a reason, and there is. Designed to deliver a dry smoke by letting excess moisture accumulate in a well beneath the draft hole that joins the mortise to the chamber, the System has been pleasing pipe smokers for more than a century. It showcases Peterson's iconic rustication, stained black over red, and is presented in the classic bent Apple shape.
