About This Pipe
The '80s' is Peterson's classic bent Bulldog shape and one of the most popular shapes in their lineup. For reasons I haven't quite figured out, I'm particularly taken by Peterson shapes with square and diamond shanks. Perhaps it's just that the square shanks pair particularly well with the heavy-lined masculinity that permeates Peterson's shaping aesthetic. This example comes in the Killarney finish, a rich, dark ruby stain accented by twin nickle bands.
