About This Pipe
Hints of Tokutomi, hints of Todd, 100% "Brad". A dramatically executed oval shank, with ridges at 9:30 and 3:30, swoops into a Nihon inspired dublin bowl, and the entry is so smooth that it wouldn't create a ripple. The previously mentioned "3:30" ridge carries all the way to the center rim, in a manner hat reminds me a bit of Brad's mentor, Todd Johnson, and the inspired, minimalist use of plateau on the rim has me thinking about Toku-san. The straight grain and birdseye of this pipe are unforgettable.
