About This Pipe
We don't see a tremendous amount of work from American pipe maker Brad Pohlmann that features the use of bamboo; however when we do, it tends to be some of his most breathtaking work. Take this sandblasted Billiard for instance. Lovingly shaped to gorgeous proportion, this piece shows off some remarkably defined base cheeks before transitioning into a short shank that's bridged to a long, two knuckle bamboo, extension. A quick inspection of the pipe's internal engineering and I'm convinced this guy is going to smoke about as well as he sits upright on my desk: like a champ.
