About This Pipe

As one might expect from combining a Pease DiPiazza design with Luigi Radice's own tendency towards full-bodied shaping, this aptly-named "Rubens Rhodesian II" is one plump little pipe. Filling the hand pleasingly with the full, soft curve of the bowl's underside, this is a briar that was made to be cradled. Luigi's light, sunny Clear finish works perfectly to keep the composition from being weighed down by the fullness of its form, while still providing plenty of contrast for the flame grain dancing about the bowl.
