About This Pipe
The Retro series, started in 2007 and ended in early 2009, referenced the shapes that Peppino Ascorti and Gigi Radice designed together for Caminetto in the 1970s. Of course, they also come with the Twin Bore stem and oil cured bowls, so it's a throw-back in shaping, not construction. This piece sports a lovely wavy rim, echoed by a similar pattern at the end of the briar ferrule. The bowl sports lots of fine, wispy flame grain.
