About This Pipe
This smooth bent dublin presents us with two of the finest marks of a hand-carved pipe: A subtle yet obviously intentional asymmetry of its flowing form, and fantastically aligned grain. Aside from a dark "sash" along the forward face of the bowl (which personally I think adds a bit of character, like the spot over a favorite pet's eye) the grain is composed of fine vertical strokes all around, from end to end. The voluptuous rim, on the other hand, is an absolute bouquet of richly finished birdseye.
