Smooth Bent Dublin with Mazur (Two Star) Tobacco Pipe

As impressive in the hand as it is to behold, this work of briar and mazur wood is yet another example of the superlative sense of design and shaping possessed by Danish pipe maker Kent Rasmussen. The bowl of this piece, exactingly cut and exceptionally fashioned, is crowned with a spectacular array of marbled bird's eye. Peer over the rim and down into the tobacco chamber and you'll find the well to be as beautifully grained and carefully manicured as the exterior of the composition. The arched shank transitions from the Dublin shaped bowl with quiet and slow ease, flaring out some near the terminus only to be met with a wafer of mazur wood, an accent that plays nicely against the muted orange stain of the briar.
