About This Pipe
When it comes to sandblasting, Tom tends, overwhelmingly, to follow the Danish tradition of employing the lightest possible blast needed to reveal a grain pattern (he's a Dane, go figure). On this handsome classic, Tom took the pressure up a notch, and the resulting medium depth blast *really* pops an incredible grain into striking relief. Don't get me wrong, no one (for a myriad a reasons) is going to yell "Ashton!", regarding the depth. Still, as a change up, I am enjoying the relief immensely. Yeah, almost as much as I am enjoying that incredible piece of horn at the mount.
