About This Pipe
The intense sandblast here really exposed the briar's growing pains to create a beautiful fan grain pattern that works its way towards the rim of the bowl. A smooth, flattened surface on the bottom of the shank provides a sturdy sitting surface for this large bent Billiard, and also reveals the undertones of a rich walnut stain that accents the reddish tones of the final few applications of stain.
