About This Pipe
This sitter style Brandy shape, the "344" has nice broad chamber for a lasting smoke, and as part of the Miele series is treated with nectar extract for some sweet initial smokes. Honey is often used to break in briar bowls by mixing the honey with some ash and pasting it to the chamber walls. It can certainly help in caking, but Savinelli's application isn't a sticky substance and will diminish after a few smokes. Included with the pipe is a tamper shaped like a honey dipper.
