About This Pipe
A new pipe from Savinelli's Leonardo da Vinci collection, the "Clavi Viola" has been inspired by the musical instrument designed by the Renaissance master. Although never constructed by da Vinci, it was a strange, ingenious combination of a harpsicord and a violin, with keys to manipulate the strings. The pipe sports a Dublin bowl on a bent diamond shank like those seen on Bulldogs. it has a roomy chamber and a silver plate in the form of a relief of da Vinci's sketch.
