About This Pipe
The Clavi Viola is a musical instrument proposed long ago by Leonardo da Vinci. The instrument was a combination of a harpsichord and a violin. Inspired by da Vinic's sketches of this instrument, Savinelli has created this combination of a Dublin bowl and the shank of a bent Bulldog. This example is fished in a rich rustication, and the shank is decorated with a silver relief of da Vinci's sketch.
