About This Pipe
Savinelli's shapes sometimes seem like they're right out of the old English playbook. While that is superficially the case with this Canadian, that sense is belied in two ways: firstly, the oval shank comes to a point on either side and, secondly, the weight of the bulge in the bowl is set a little lower than would be the case with a traditional English version of the shape. The resulting effect is really quite lovely; and all the more so when paired to the handsome, smooth Spring finish.
